COURSE DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES This curse is designed t intrduce the student t the cncepts, tls, and applicatins f persnal finance and investments. The gal is fr each student t gain a basic understanding f the persnal financial planning prcess with an emphasis f the rle that investing plays in achieving yur financial bjectives. We will use a variety f methds t enhance yur learning experience, including internet exercises, news feeds, vides, interactive calculatrs, financial planning wrksheets and individual prjects. Assessment in the curse will be based upn chapter quizzes, hmewrk prblems, cases and prjects. The curse will incrprate MyFinanceLab, a web-based assignment and assessment platfrm. MyFinanceLab includes custmizable cntent and highly persnalized study paths, respnsive learning tls, and real-time evaluatin and diagnstics.
