Being the final aces event f the prject cycle, the aces Academy ffered time fr reflectin and evaluatin. This evaluatin was undertaken bth n a persnal level as well as by fur experts acting as jury Special Achievements Last year already we intrduced five s-called fields f achievements as a structure fr the reflectin f the participating schls and as the basis fr the jury s decisin making prcess. These 5 fields f achievements were and are crucial t us as they either reflect general aces aims and the challenges f crss-brder cperatin r relate t the tpic f the respective aces call fr prpsals: Student Participatin: active invlvement f students in varius phases f the prject planning, implementatin and decisin-making prcesses Civil curage: daring t take risks, addressing cntrversial issues, bridging gaps r vercming steretypes Vlunteering: relevant and innvative ways/methdlgies f dealing with the tpic f the call Internatinal cperatin: crss-brder share f tasks and respnsibilities, excellent teamwrk f the schls invlved Special bnus : any ther pssible success f yur prject (e.g. vercming specific challenges, difficulties and barriers) When preparing fr the Academy the participating schls were asked t think abut the categry thrugh which they had grwn the mst whilst implementing their prject. On March 29, after the simultaneus prject presentatins, the prject grups were asked t agree n the special achievement f their grup. On March 29, the jury members spent all day tgether watching the recrded presentatins in rder t select ne best practice prject per specific field f achievement and t write the justificatins. Later the jury members claimed that it hadn t been an easy decisin at all. Varius recrded presentatins were watched several times and in sme cases they even had t cnsult the CDs that had been prepared by the schls. At the ceremny Gabriella summarised the verall impressin f the jury members: Firstly let me share with yu hw impressed we were with the cmmitment and enthusiasm that yu all shwed t this year's aces prjects.
