2 2 Academic Details 2.1 Overview f the Subject The financial accunting sectin includes basic and generally accepted cncepts and principles s that students have a gd understanding f internal and external financial reprting and are able t analyse and interpret financial statements fr decisin making as well as cmmunicating financial infrmatin t internal and external parties. The management accunting sectin emphasises cst cncepts and CVP analysis, shrt and lng term decisin making, budgetary planning and cntrl techniques, respnsibility centre accunting, prduct csting, internal perfrmance evaluatin and strategic management accunting. 2.2 Graduate Attributes fr Undergraduate Curses Graduates f the Bachelr f Business (Accunting), and the Bachelr f Business (Management and Finance) curses frm King s Own Institute will gain the graduate attributes expected frm successful cmpletin f a Bachelr s degree under the Australian Qualificatins Framewrk (2 nd editin, January 2013).
