Curse includes an pprtunity t analyze fuel system cmpnents, and system peratinal characteristics. This curse shall place emphasis n testing and service prcedures f Caterpillar's mechanical and cmputer cntrlled fuel systems. This class prepares students fr the ASE Certificatin test related t heavy duty diesel fuel systems. Ttal pssible n the AUT 113 Pre / Pst test is 100 pints. Grading Methds Class scre calculatin- Quizzes, assignments and jb sheet pints shall be added and carry a weight equal t ne test scre. All exam except the final shall have equal weight (test scres averaged) and used in class scre calculatins. The final (pst test) will be wrth at least 10% f the verall final grade calculatin. Lab scre calculatin- Instructr shuld evaluate each student's wrk habits using lab time card. Each student shuld be evaluated n prductivity and prgress n task requirements, wrking in a prfessinal manner, clean-up and safe wrk habits. Instructr is als required t evaluate each student's skill level in achieving the task requirements utlined in the varius learning plans. Instructrs are encuraged t reward students fr shwing up n time and attending each class and lab sessin. This can be dne by requiring students t make arrangements with the instructr t make-up any lst time prir t missed day. All students need t ntify the instructr f sick days thrugh vice mail, etc. n the day f sickness. Instructrs shuld nt allw fr any wrk t be turned in late r any test made up withut sme type f deductin fr late assignments/test. Suggested deductin 50% f riginal scre.
