1 Tips fr the Crdinatr Belw are sme tips t help yu in yur Crdinatr Rle with the Read t Succeed Prgram: HOW TO REGISTER G t It will lk like this: If yu DO have an accunt frm last year, please Lgin with yur address and passwrd frm last year. Then click the green Lgin buttn. Yu DO NOT need t click n the Register buttn. Yu will then see this very imprtant page abut the Teacher Ticket rule: Please read the Teacher Ticket Rule, then click the checkbx that cnfirms yu understand the rule. Then click the green Cntinue buttn.

2 Skip t page 6. Yu will be asked if yu want t be the crdinatr again. If yu d NOT have an accunt frm past year, click n the blue buttn that says Register t register fr a new accunt: Yu will then see this: Enter yur address. Enter a passwrd (twice). The passwrd needs t include at least ne upper case letter, ne lwercase letter and ne number. Then click n the green Register buttn. Yu will then g thrugh a series f questins t answer. Only Traditinal Schls can have a Crdinatr. S if yu are reviewing this Tip Sheet, yu must be at a Traditinal Schl. Please select Traditinal Schl.

3 The next screen yu will see will lk like this this is imprtant: Please read the Teacher Ticket Rule, then click the checkbx that cnfirms yu understand the rule. Then click the green Cntinue buttn. Next yu will be able t search fr yur schl: Enter the zip cde fr yur schl then click Search.

4 A list f schls will appear: Scrll dwn until yu see yur schl s name and address. Click n yur schl name and click n the Fund It! buttn. If yu scrll all the way dwn and cannt find yur schl please click n the I Can t Find It buttn and fllw the steps t search r add yur schl. After yu select yur schl, yu will see a Teacher Registratin Frm: This is where yu can fill in/edit yur name, , tell us if yu are a teacher with students, a teacher withut students r schl supprt persnnel. Yu will als need t tell us what subjects yu teach (ex. Reading, All Subjects, Language Arts, etc). Then yu can click n the green Cntinue buttn n the bttm f the page.

5 Yu will then see the Passwrd Recvery Optins page. Yu will then see this page: On this page, please enter an alternate . If yu d nt have ne, click n the bx indicating yu d nt have ne. We prefer t have an alternate just in case yur primary address firewall prevents ur s frm ging thrugh. Please fill in the 3 Security Questins t help yu reset yur passwrd in the future. It is nt mandatry but is VERY helpful. Click Cntinue. Please review this page carefully. If yu chse t be the crdinatr, yu are vlunteering t be the crdinatr fr the entire schl.

6 Yu must check the bx t acknwledge that yu read the page. THEN click the bubble crrespnding t whether yu wuld r wuld nt want t be the crdinatr. OR If yu selected that YOU DO want t be the crdinatr OR if yu lgged int yur crdinatr accunt frm last year, yu will see this: If yu d want the rle, then click n the YES bubble. Then click Cntinue. If yu accidentally accepted the rle and DO NOT want t be the crdinatr, nw is yur chance t decline it. Click the NO bubble. Then click Cntinue.

7 If yu clicked YES, then yu will see this: This page will display the list f teachers in yur schl that participated last year. As the crdinatr, yu can Register (r imprt/add) these teachers t the prgram again. Yu can either click the bx that says Check/Uncheck all teachers t select all the teachers, r individually check the bx next t each teacher s name. Then click Cntinue. Yu can als leave these bxes unchecked and just click Cntinue. Yu will be able t add teachers via yur nline accunt shrtly as well. Yu will then see the Welcme page: Yu are nw fficially the crdinatr fr yur schl Cngratulatins and thank yu!

8 Please read the page. Check the checkbxes: Then click the Cntinue buttn The next screen yu will see will ask yu t chse a park lcatin fr yur schl. Only the schl crdinatr can select the park lcatin fr the schl: Take int cnsideratin that this is the park fr the ENTIRE schl. Schls can nly select ne park lcatin. Click the bubble next t the park selectin then check the check bx and click the green Select Park buttn.

9 Once the park is selected, then yu will see this page: This page is asking fr yur principal s infrmatin. We are ding this s that we can verify eligibility fr the teachers and students that are submitted. The next page will ask hw yu heard abut the prgram:

10 Let us knw hw yu heard abut the prgram and what the primary way yu heard abut the prgram was and then click Cntinue. Yu are almst dne registering. Yu will see this page belw: At this pint yur registratin is almst cmplete but yu still have a few mre steps. Read the page & check the 5 bxes and click Cntinue. HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE THE COORDINATOR Once yur registratin is almst cmplete, yu will find yurself in yur nline accunt. Yu will see yur PROFILE page. Yur prfile page will include yur infrmatin. Yur name will appear in the Schl Crdinatr bx.

11 COORDINATOR ACCESS Yu will have Crdinatr access that Teachers WILL NOT have: Yu can Edit yur Schl infrmatin by clicking n the blue EDIT SCHOOL buttn (use this t edit infrmatin such as the schl address, phne number and principal name). If yu decide yu d nt want t be the Crdinatr anymre, yu can assign the crdinatr rle t anther registered teacher by clicking n the blue CHANGE COORDINTOR buttn and selecting the new crdinatr s name. Please make sure t discuss this with the persn yu will be selecting first. Yu can add teachers and imprt teachers. Yu can access teacher accunts thrugh yur accunt. Yu can add students in the teacher accunts. Yu can edit the park selectin fr yur schl. Please nte that yu will have a ttal f 6 tabs in yur nline accunt: PROFILE tab STUDENTS tab TEACHERS tab SELECT PARK tab MARK COMPLETE tab TEACHER TOOLBOX tab

12 HOW TO ADD AND IMPORT TEACHERS As the crdinatr, yu can add teachers and imprt teachers that participated last year. Please nte, yu d nt have t d this but depending n hw yu want t run the prgram at yur schl, yu CAN d this. Please let the teachers knw ahead f time that yu will be adding them t the prgram s they will nt be surprised. Belw are the steps t ADD TEACHERS (new teachers t the schl r teachers that did nt participate last year): Lg int yur crdinatr accunt Click n the TEACHER tab Click n the green ADD TEACHER buttn Enter the teacher's name, address and number f students they have (this can be an apprx number) Click the green ADD TEACHER buttn Yu will then be back in yur accunt and will see the teacher's infrmatin appear belw yur name - this is yur teacher list. Repeat this prcess until yu have added all the teachers They will receive the with a link t their accunt Belw are the steps t IMPORT TEACHERS (teachers that participated in the prgram thrugh yur schl last year): Lg int yur crdinatr accunt Click n the TEACHER tab Click n the blue IMPORT LAST YEAR S TEACHERS buttn Check the bxes next t the teachers names that will participate again this year Click the green CONTINUE buttn

13 HOW TO ADD STUDENTS FOR OTHER TEACHERS Crdinatrs CAN add students fr the teachers. BUT yu must add the students under the crrect teacher s accunt fr that teacher t earn a ticket d nt add anther teacher s students in yur student list. Please als knw that adding students fr ther teachers is ptinal fr the crdinatr because teachers can add their students int their accunt n their wn. Please verify the Reading Lgs t ensure that each student cmpleted the required 6 hurs befre yu add them. Belw are the steps t ADD STUDENTS Lg int yur nline accunt Click the TEACHERS tab Click n the "edit" buttn next t the teacher's name This will take yu int a mini versin f that teacher's accunt Enter the student infrmatin in the yellw bx: first name last name grade level please enter the number zer 0 fr Kindergarten students hurs read the hurs read MUST be 6 r mre fr the student t earn a ticket DO NOT enter minutes, please enter the HOURS read Click the "Add" buttn The student s infrmatin will appear in a list belw the yellw bx Repeat this prcess fr each student fr this teacher When yu have added all the students fr this teacher, click the green SAVE TEACHER buttn Yu will then be back in yur accunt Yu can nw click n the "edit" buttn fr the next teacher and repeat the prcess t add students fr the next teacher.

14 HOW TO ADD YOUR STUDENTS Sme crdinatrs are media specialists r schl supprt persnnel and d nt have any students s they d nt have any students f their wn t add. BUT many crdinatrs are teacher WITH students f their wn. If yu are a teacher with students f yur wn, yu will need t add yur students in yur crdinatr accunt. Belw are the steps t ADD STUDENTS OF YOUR OWN Lg int yur nline accunt Click n the STUDENTS tab Enter the student infrmatin in the yellw bx: first name last name grade level please enter the number zer 0 fr Kindergarten hurs read the hurs read MUST be 6 r mre fr the student t earn a ticket DO NOT enter minutes, please enter the HOURS read Click the "Add" buttn The student s infrmatin will appear in a list belw the yellw bx After yu have added all yur students, please click n the MARK COMPLETE tab, then click n the Mark Cmplete buttn. HOW TO VIEW TEACHER PROGRESS If yur teachers are adding their wn students in their accunts, yu can view their prgress. This becmes imprtant as we apprach the March 1, 2018 deadline. REMINDER this prgram year, teachers MUST have 8 r mre students that met the 6 hur gal in their accunt BEFORE the deadline t earn a Teacher Ticket. As the crdinatr, as lng as yu have 1 teacher in yur teacher list that has the 8 students, yu will earn a teacher ticket. Belw are the steps t view the teachers prgress: Lg int yur nline accunt Click the TEACHERS tab Yu will see a list f all the teachers in yur schl that have signed up:

15 The list will display the teacher s first name, last name, number f students they said they had when they registered, number f students they registered and the number f students that cmpleted the required 6 hurs f reading. If a teacher has less than 8 students in their class r less than 8 students that cmpleted the 6 hurs and wuld like t be cnsidered fr an exceptin t the Teacher Ticket rule, please ask the teacher t submit an Exceptin Request that can be fund in their STUDENT tab they will need t click n the green Exceptin Requests buttn. Crdinatrs cannt submit this request fr the teachers. HOW TO MAKE YOUR SUBMISSION OFFICIAL: Once yu have cmpleted entering all yur student submissins in yur nline accunt (r cmpleted adding the students fr ther teachers via yur TEACHER tab), yu need t mark yur accunt cmplete in the MARK COMPLETE tab. This will tell us that all yur wrk is dne and yu are ready t receive tickets fr the students and teachers that are listed in yur accunt.

16 If yu mark yur submissin cmplete n accident r later fund mre reading lgs t enter, simply click n the red UNLOCK SUBMISSION buttn and yu will be able t add mre students. HOW TO PREPARE FOR TICKET DISTRIBUTION Tickets will be ed and will als be available in yur nline accunt n r arund May 1, ALL teachers will als receive the and have the tickets in their accunts as well. Please plan ahead and discuss with yur teachers abut wh will be respnsible t print the tickets ut. Sme schls prefer t have each teacher print their wn tickets ut. Other schls prefer t have the crdinatr print the entire schl s tickets ut. Just be sure all teachers are clear as t which way it will be dne t avid duplicate printing. Duplicate ticket print uts will need t be shredded r destryed. Each ticket has a unique barcde that will nly wrk nce. Therefre, giving a student 2 print uts f their ticket des nt mean they have 2 tickets, as it will nly scan ne time.

17 The tickets will have a persnalized certificate f achievement n it. This makes it a nice item t hand ut t the students during the end f the year awards presentatins. Please nte, that because the ticket has a barcde n it, the certificate/ticket will need t be printed n white paper this will ensure that the ticket will easily scan when the student is at the park. IMPORTANT DATES: Prgram Launch Octber 25, 2017 Yu can start the prgram at yur schl as sn as yu register. Please start the prgram as early as pssible t give the students enugh time t reach the required 6 hurs f reading AND t give yu and the teachers enugh time t enter the student infrmatin in their nline accunts. Prgram Deadline March 1, 2018 This is the prgram deadline fr registratin AND entering all student infrmatin. Yu r teachers can enter the student infrmatin as lng as the student infrmatin is entered under the crrect teacher accunt. Student infrmatin needed includes: Student name Student grade level TOTAL HOURS read DO NOT enter minutes, please enter HOURS Ticket Distributin May 1, 2018 Tickets will be ed and will als appear in each crdinatr and teacher s nline accunt.
