4 WiggleWorks Teacher Software Before students may use WiggleWorks, they must be enrolled by teachers in the learning management system (in some cases this may be done by the district administrator). Use the WiggleWorks Manager to enroll classes and students in WiggleWorks, as well as to customize the program to meet students individual learning needs. The WiggleWorks Manager also keeps a running database of students performance in WiggleWorks activities. This helps teachers assess students progress as well as identify problem areas. Logging In To explore the WiggleWorks teacher software, double-click the WiggleWorks desktop icon (clicking anywhere on the screen during the introductory animation stops the animation). Move the mouse to the top of the screen to reveal the Menu Bar. In the Menu Bar at the top of the Select Your Name screen, the following two items are available in the Administrator menu: Enter Manager: This allows teachers to access the WiggleWorks Manager to enroll and customize the program for classes and students, and view student records and work. Enter Book as Teacher: This allows teachers to explore the different activity areas as a student and personalize a particular book for all the students in their class. Selecting either item prompts teachers to enter a password. The default password is teacher (see page 21 to learn how to edit passwords).
