Yu will need t read yur chapter and cmplete these prblems sets prir t class. Once the due date has been reached, yu will n lnger have access t these prblem sets. These interactive prblem sets will prvide yu an pprtunity t apply what yu are reading and learning abut in the text. Additinally, they will give yu a chance t interact with the curse material. If yu have read the chapters, yu shuld have n truble earning the maximum pints fr each. Success Jurnals Yur Success Jurnal prvides an pprtunity t explre yur thughts and feelings as yu experiment with the success strategies presented in On Curse. Althugh I will be reading yur jurnal entries, write yur jurnal fr yurself, nt fr me. Methd: All jurnals will be cmpleted and submitted in the Aplia prgram Evaluatins: The due dates fr each jurnal are clearly utlined in the class calendar f the syllabus as well as n the Aplia curse utline page. I will ccasinally make cmments n yur jurnals. These are just wnderments r thughts I have, nt

Jurnal Pints: Jurnal entries have varying pints depending n their length and cmplexity. T earn the maximum number f pints pssible, cmplete all steps in the jurnal and make an bvius attempt t dive deep! When evaluating yur attempt t dive deep, I ask myself if yu have nt nly cmmented n yur thughts but explained why yu believe this and where it cmes frm. Imagine me ver yur shulder asking why? r Where des this cme frm? after yur statements and cntinue writing until yu believe yu have answered thse questins. Study Skill Plan Academic Plans Yu will create an academic plan this semester. Academic plans are like a lng term map t yur verall gal f graduatin. I will intrduce this cncept in class and give yu the tls t create yur plan but yu will cmplete it utside f class. Yu will als schedule an individual meeting with me t review yur academic plan. Final Essay As yur final prject, yu will chse ne f the tw tpics belw and write an essay. Things t keep in mind t receive a passing grade n either paper yu chse: This is a prfessinal paper. It shuld be typed and edited. D nt turn in papers that yu have nt taken the time t prfread! I will be grading yu n the quality f cntent, nt the length; therefre there is n minimum r maximum page length. Hwever, it has been my experience that ther students are able t achieve an A/B paper in 2-3 pages length. DO NOT regurgitate infrmatin frm the bk r lecture. Fr example, d nt give me definitins f cncepts t demnstrate yur knwledge. I will be lking fr examples f hw yu see the On Curse cncepts playing ut in yur wn life. Talk abut yurself in this paper; what yu have learned abut yurself and if yu intend t make changes because f this new knwledge. Optin 1: Persnal Philsphy f Success Essay In this essay, yu will need t address the fllwing:! What is yur wn Persnal Philsphy f Success and hw have yu cme t have this definitin? Are there things yu learned in the On Curse class that have helped yu establish this definitin r validated a definitin yu have always had?! Identify the On Curse success strategies that have been impactful and hw yu either have used them r hw yu plan t use them in the future.! Identify new things yu have learned abut yurself.
