Bring along chairs, rugs, sun shelters, or if the weather is looking unsettled bring your umbrellas. Don t forget your sunscreen, hats and sun protection clothing. Shade for parents is limited, so please bring along your own shelter to be set up OUTSIDE of the main arena if you wish. The Sports Venue Canteen is available to parents only as students are being supervised by their class teacher. Students need to remain with their teacher at all times.

4 9:00am Students arrive and meet class teacher 9:20am Assemble in team colours 9:30am Principal Address Kaurna Welcome, Australian Anthem, Opening Prayer 9:35am Health Hustle and Team Chants 9:45am Relay Races R-2 then :00am Students move to class groups in preparation for first event 10:10am-12:00pm Tabloid Events in Class Groups 12:10pm Sprints R-7 (including pre-schoolers race for any younger siblings wanting to participate) 12:30pm Lunch 12:45pm Pack up and clean up 12:50pm Tug of War R-2 then 3-7 1:10pm Health Hustle with Parents 1:20pm Presentations of winning teams, speeches and Spirit Shield --- Winning Team Chant 1:30pm Dismissal students returning to school move to bus 1:45pm Supervision of students concludes, teachers return to school Please be reminded that students are to stay with their class groups for the entire day. The Sports Venue Canteen access is for parents only, as students are being supervised by their class teacher. Students are reminded to bring along their water bottle, hat, sunscreen, brain food, recess and lunch if they have not ordered the sausage sizzle. Students may wear a plain coloured T-shirt (with no writing or images) in their team colour, along with their SCHOOL SPORT SHORTS, SPORTS SHOES AND SCHOOL HAT. Students may wear coloured hairspray and zinc, however it must be applied at home and not brought to the venue. Coloured ribbons may be worn. Please apply sunscreen to your child before coming to Sports Day. If you have organised any other person to collect your child other than yourself please write a letter to the class teacher informing them of the person who is collecting your child. The children are to be under the supervision of the class teacher at all times during Sports Day. Parent Volunteers in the Early Years will assist younger children by accompanying them to the toilet. Older students will need to go to the toilet in pairs.

5 If you are able to help out with either the Sausage Sizzle or the Cake Stall on Sports Day we would love to hear from you. Please let us know on the FACEBOOK page if you are able to help out and we will put your name on the roster. OR Just come to the stalls on Sports Day and let us know if you are able to help out during the day. You can add your name on the roster in the time slot you are able to help out. Many hands make light work. Thank you! Sausages will be on sale for everyone on Sports Day. Sausage and Bread with or without sauce $2.50 each SPORTS DAY RAFFLE TICKETS SOLD AT SPORTS DAY $1.00 EACH TICKET FIRST PRIZE: $50 SPORT VOUCHER DONATIONS of cakes/slices can be received in the hall.
