Tuesday 16th December Student Banking commences Wednesday 17th February School Opening Mass Parents are invited to attend the opening School Year Mass on Friday 11th February at 8.45am in the church. Students MUST be at school by 8.30am on this day. At this special Mass our student leaders will receive their badges. Child Protection Ms Veness will be running a Child Protection Module on Thursday 18th February at 9.00am in the staffroom. Parents wishing to help out on School excursions, in classrooms, in the canteen, at sporting activities, P&F activities or any activity that involves contact with students other than your own are requested to attend a Child Protection Module. This is a requirement as part of the child protection within schools. We require an update of the medical condition and any other information that may be helpful to the school, in relation to the care of your child. Would you like to see your children occasionally during school hours? Are you looking for a way to become involved at school, in a social relaxed way and have completed the Child Protection Module. Then the canteen is the answer you ve been looking for. We require some new faces to join our wonderful team of canteen ladies, because some of our old ones have left. If you can spare a day in a week, fortnight, month or even occasionally, please fill out the form and return it to school. We really do need the help. The Diocesan Solo Parent Ministry runs an excellent 7 week program for those who are working through the painful experience of grief and loss following either the death of their spouse or the breakdown in their marital relationship. We offer two such programs each year; the next one starts on Wednesday 17th February at 7.30pm, at Blacktown. All children that attend a Catholic school and all Catholic boys & girls of all ages from U/6 s to U/11 s are invited to join our Club by being at our registration day on Sunday 21 st February 2010 at Nemesia St Park Greystanes 10 am 2 pm (A free sausage sizzle will be provided) Training will start on Friday 26 th February at Nemesia St Park Greystanes 6 7 pm.
