The Food Pantry will not be open on Nov. 22nd. St. Peter-St. Paul School Calendar Raffle St. Peter-St. Paul School is holding a calendar raffle during the month of December. The calendars are $10 each, and you have a chance to win 31 times!! Prizes range from $25 to $1,000. Tickets can be found in the back of both churches. You can return your stubs with payment to the school, the rectory or put it in the Sunday collection. Tickets must be returned by November 30, Parish Wreaths A few weeks back, you received information about parish wreaths. You ve seen a number of parishes put Christmas Trees on parish property in honor or in memory of someone. This is the same idea only with wreaths. The wreaths are $45 and can be placed at Assumption Church, St Peter s Church and St. Peter-St. Paul School (your choice). Please help us beautify our parish by taking a wreath in honor/memory of a loved one. The wreaths are 16 with a red bow and a card with the memorialization. They will be hung and blessed on December 16 and will remain up throughout the Christmas season. Order forms can be found in the back of both churches. There will be numerous vendors- many new this year. The North Pole Café will be open for breakfast and lunch! Santa will be stopping by with a gift for each child from 1 to 3 p.m. COME AND SUPPORT YOUR PARISH!!!! An event like this takes many people to help. 4 Giving-Tree Time! Each year our parishioners reach out at Christmas to give support to families going through a tough time. We do this through our Giving-Trees, which are adorned with tags, seeking a special gift for someone in need. This year, for several reasons, each gift request is a Gift Card to a particular store. You are asked to choose a tag, and include it with the gift card, and proof of activation, in an envelope. On the outside of the envelope, just write Giving Tree and the number that is on the tag. You may put the envelope in the collection basket at Mass or bring it to the rectory at 53 St. Mark s Place by Dec. 10th. On Christmas morning, you will feel great, knowing that someone somewhere is smiling because of your generosity! Parish Thanksgiving Celebration! The tradition continues! On Wednesday, Nov. 22nd, plan to join with your fellow parishioners for a traditional, home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner, in the auditorium of St. Peter- St. Paul School. Dinner will be served from approximately 5-6pm. Please RSVP to by Nov. 20th. There is no fee but desserts are always welcomed! Congratulations to parishioner, Charlie Carroll. Charlie was admitted as a candidate to the permanent diaconate on Friday, November 3, 2017 at a Mass at St. Joseph s Seminary. Please keep Charlie and all seminarians in your prayers.
