8 Entry requirements Tuition Fees Undergraduate High School Graduation Diploma (HSGD) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 plus at least one of the following: SATR ACT score of 26+ At least 2, preferably 3, Advanced Placement (AP) Exams with minimum scores of 3 Or Completion of one year of a college/university program with good GPA from a recognised university Postgraduate Completion of a UK bachelor degree - minimum 2:2 (or 3rd class with 2:2 in final dissertation) Or American four year bachelor degree GPA minimum 2.8 Or Good Bachelors (Hons) degree or a Masters degree from other overseas university Or Completion of a recognised pre-masters programme (between 55% - 60% depending on programme) Or Completion of BTEC or SQA HND with a merit profile + 2 years relevant work experience or professional qualification or pre-masters Undergraduate courses Classroom based 9,200 (approx. $14,200) Laboratory based 10,500 (approx. $16,250)) Postgraduate courses Classroom based 9,450 (approx. $14,610) MSc International Business programmes 10,500 (approx. $16,250) Laboratory based 10,775 (approx. $16,660) Other costs We estimate that to cover the cost of other living expenses including accommodation a single self-supporting student (with no children) should budget for between at least 980-1,180 (approximately $1,515 - $1,825) each month in addition to tuition fees. 10 Study Abroad International support Our Study Abroad programme focuses on the creative arts, media, history, theology and sports. With exciting modules taught by experts in their field and a full package of cultural tours you re sure to have a wonderful time and make many new friends. You will be taught alongside British and international students taking full degrees and you can select modules from any of the following academic areas: English and Creative Writing Media Sport and Exercise Science History Theology Dance Psychology You can study with us for one or two terms (half an academic year or one full academic year). It's very easy to find suitable modules and to apply. International and Study Abroad Office: international@chi.ac.uk The International Student Advice Service offers specialist advice for international students and will help with issues such as finance, fees, visa regulations and your cultural adjustment to life in the UK. Practical support services include: Careers advice, Job Shop and Volunteering Services, Chaplaincy, Counselling Service, Dyslexia and Disability Service, Student Health Centre, IT and Technical Support. Orientation The International Orientation programme is held in September before the start of term and will help you adapt to life in the UK. You will also have the opportunity to meet other international students studying at the University of Chichester. Academic support All students have a personal tutor to support you with your studies and guide your academic development. We also organise a programme of study workshops throughout each semester. They include topics such as how to organise yourself and your time, as well as coping with your reading, taking useful notes, understanding assignment questions, and knowing how to structure essays and reference your work.

11 Employability Developing your employability Our degree programmes are designed to provide you with the skills you ll need in your future career. Classes and group-learning simulate a professional work environment and will equip you with skills you ll need for future employment. Career Development The Chichester Careers, Job Shop and Volunteering Services will help with your career planning, job hunting, CV writing and interview technique. They will put you in touch with local employers offering part-time work, or help find a placement with a local charity. Professional Work Placement Opportunities Many of our courses provide professional work placement opportunities. Work placements last from 6 to 48 weeks. The History course provided by the University of Chichester was fantastic, the lecturers friendly and approachable, with interesting and fascinating modules. My time there was something I will never forget and has given me the skills, knowledge and drive to hopefully gain employment in the historical sector. Hugo Pickup, History graduate. Undergraduate students take work placements in their third year. Masters level students can take work placements as part of their final three or five-month dissertation project.

12 Location We are a friendly, safe university situated in the South of England in a perfect location to experience all aspects of British life. Close to both the stunning countryside of the South Downs and the coast, you will be in an ideal place to explore the UK. We have two beautiful campuses in West Sussex. We are an hour and half by train from London and close to the major international airports, Heathrow and Gatwick. Chichester The cathedral city of Chichester has a long history going back to Roman times and has many beautiful historic buildings but also all the facilities of a modern city. There is a great choice of designer and high street shops and a wide variety of restaurants, bars and cafes and entertainment. It is well known for its vibrant cultural scene with theatres, galleries, cinemas and arts festival. The surrounding countryside offers lots to do and see in your free time. Bognor Regis This seaside town is famous for its royal connections, its beach and for having the most sunshine hours in the UK. There are traditional cafes and a choice of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. In the summer there are music and arts festivals.

15 Accommodation The University has a wide range of comfortable, secure and modern accommodation on both campuses. We also have off-campus accommodation available within walking distance to both campuses. Most rooms are single occupancy and some have private bathrooms. We have a small number of twin rooms if you are looking for a cheaper option. We offer self-catered or catered accommodation. Costs University housing costs from 91 (approx. $140) a week for a single room with shared facilities, to 155 (approx. $230) per week for private facilities and meals.
