Tonight our community will celebrate the achievements of these accomplished Hall of Fame men and women. We are proud that they began as students in our school system and have gone on to be successful members of the communities they now live in. We are fortunate to have many still here in Toms River. Toms River Regional Schools has a long-standing tradition of athletic talent and competition. The distinguished individuals being honored this evening have contributed to the rich history of our school district and to the spirit of athletics that thrives in our schools. These scholar-athletes have positively represented Toms River Regional Schools both on and off the field of play. Congratulations, honorees, on all of your achievements. 4 TOMS RIVER REGIONAL SCHOOLS 2012 ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME Selection Criteria Candidates shall be student athletes of the Toms River Schools. Must have demonstrated individual or team sports ability, which brings recognition, acclaim and civil pride to Toms River. 10 years must have elapsed since high school graduation for individuals and 5 years since high school graduation for teams. Although most candidates will have been student athletes, those who may have contributed to the athletic success of the Toms River Schools through their volunteer efforts, may be considered. On behalf of the Hall of Fame Committee We wish to welcome and congratulate the inductees to the Toms River Regional Schools Athletic Hall of Fame. We, your family and friends, wish to celebrate your accomplishments while participating in our athletic programs. We thank you for your participation and service to our athletic programs, and we trust they have contributed to your success.
