CBRE Offices in UTC Westfield Mall ABOUT UNCORKED FOR A CAUSE A MODERN, SOCIAL, CHARITABLE BLIND WINE TASTING COMPETITON Hosted by our Jr. Board, this blind wine tasting has raised over $60,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs (BGC) of San Dieguito since it s inception. Join us in our NEW VENUE: CBRE offices inside the UTC Westfield Mall. Gather your colleagues, family members and friends for this happy hour style event consisting of over 100 bottles of wine, light food and friendly competition. Last year s first place team took home over 50 bottles of wine! Come support a great cause while entertaining colleagues, clients, and friends. Then you and your guests have access to over 40+ restaurants and bars within walking distance for a night out on the town or dinner out. *Guests 21 and over only please. We provide children a place to call home during the hours kids need us most. No child is turned away! Over $400,000 was allocated last year in financial aid towards our after school and specialty programs for the children/families who needed us the most. Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with over 6,500 members from North Coastal San Diego County. Our service reach provides facilities, classes and camps to over 10,800 youth annually throughout various areas of San Diego. Our seven clubhouses offer exceptionally diverse programs ranging from afterschool and summer camp programs, to aquatics, athletics, middle school sports, as well as a Montessori school and a Youth Arts Academy, and The Center for a Healthy Lifestyle. Through our wide variety of programs, we instill life skills as well as a sense of belonging, purpose & community in our local youth. THE OPPORTUNITY Each year, Boys and Girls Clubs of San Dieguito s UNCORKED for a Cause welcomes new sponsors and in-kind donors who share in our mission of providing POSITIVE activities to local youth. As a sponsor, your support allows children to learn, grow and develop healthy lifestyles within a safe, nurturing environment. Your generous donation helps bridge the gap between our modest fees and the real cost of our programs and services to the over 10,800 children and families who count on us each year. Our qualified staff is adept at developing programs that appeal to youth in each unique club. BGC San Dieguito s After School programs offer a wide variety of options to meet the needs of the community and instill a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence, and competence in our members. Financial assistance is available to all qualifying families. Our motto of no child is turned away has held steadfast for over 50 years. Core programs encourage activities with adults, peers, and family members that enable kids to enhance self-esteem and fulfill their potential.

Your logo on the invitation blast as DM Sponsor and Facebook/Twitter Business name/link on Partners Page on BGC San Dieguito website One team (3 people maximum and wine is not included) Helps Sponsor 2 Children in Our Middle School Sports Program OR Swim Lessons Your $500 sponsorship can help provide two children in need a scholarship to participate in programs like our Big Ei8ht Middle School Sports Program OR Swim Lessons. In 2003 when schools in our community lost funding for middle school sports, BGC San Dieguito stepped in to ensure that physical activity and teamwork would continue to be a part of our kids lives. Our program now supports approx. 1,000 student athletes each year from Earl Warren in Solana Beach, Diegueno and Oak Crest in Encinitas, and Carmel Valley Middle School & Pacific Trails in Carmel Valley. We offer nine different sports appealing to both boys and girls in Basketball, Soccer, Track & Field, Cross Country, Flag Football, Volleyball, Field Hockey, Wrestling & Golf. On average, underserved or minority children ages 5-14 are most at risk for drowning. Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death for children under the age of 14. BGC San Dieguito offers programs such as Swim Lessons to help educate and enhance the lives of all children despite their family s financial ability; teaching them the importance of learning how to swim from certified instructors in a safe and supportive environment.

9 Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito TAX ID# Pardee Aquatics Center The Doug & Marianne Pardee Aquatics Center, located at our Harper Club in Solana Beach, is home to the nationally recognized Rancho San Dieguito Swim Team. Youth Swim Lessons are offered year-round. Our Aquatics Center features two regulation length 25 yard pools. Middle School Sports The BIG EI8HT Middle School Sports Conference serves approximately 1,000 student-athletes from Earl Warren in Solana Beach, Diegueno and Oak Crest in Encinitas and Carmel Valley Middle and Pacific Trails in Carmel Valley. The Big Eight features nine sports to include: girls volleyball, cross country, soccer, flag football, basketball, girls field hockey, wrestling, track & field, and golf.

Created in 2007 after reduced funding for the Arts in surrounding schools, our Youth Arts Academy (YAA) serves over 250 youth a year. Through YAA, young students, 5 to 18, have access to a myriad of quality programs designed to stimulate growth and creativity while expressing themselves through the performing arts. Programs include: music classes, rock band, private lessons, dance classes and theater. BGC San Dieguito s Center for a Healthy Lifestyle was created to encourage children and adults to make good decisions for their own health and the well being of the planet. With a garden to table approach, our classes offer skills and knowledge ranging from growing techniques in a working organic garden to hands on experience of culinary techniques: providing them a life-long understanding of how what we eat effects our health, longevity and the world around us.

Youth Arts Academy Youth Arts Academy offers music classes, rock band classes, private lessons, dance classes, and a theater and dramatic arts program. Through YAA, youth ages 5-18 have access to a myriad of quality programs designed to stimulate their growth and creativity, while expressing themselves through performing arts.

Did you know that : million kids in our country are left unsupervised after school. -3 out of 10 kids all across the country (including southern CA) are obese or overweight Our Clubs are open when kids (especially teens) need us most. With outside influences making it increasingly difficult to help teens make the right decisions in the present as well as for their future, BGC San Dieguito offers programs specifically targeted to teens. Programs like Keystone, Money Matters, Reading Club, STEAM & Smart Girls help ensure that teens are exposed to educational services that allow them to think positively about their potential and ultimately their future as a productive member of the San Dieguito community.
