QUT Vice Chancellor s STEM Camp Sunday 24 th September- Friday 29 th September during School Holidays This Vice-Chancellor's science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) camp provides high-achieving Year 11 students with an exciting opportunity to attend an interactive 5-day camp, and engage in solving some of the major challenges facing our society and planet today. QUT Cube Experience The Cube is one of the world's largest interactive digital display systems. It's two storeys high, has 170m 2 of highdefinition screens, and includes 48 touch panels. The space offers new and exciting learning opportunities for school groups, as we can use the responsive display screens to simulate environments, display data and interact with virtual objects. These 30-minute interactive experiences are available for all year levels. Griffith University: Architectural Workshop Saturday 29 th July- Sunday 30 th July This two-day workshop provides an opportunity for secondary school students to learn more about studying architecture at a tertiary level. USQ Mathematics Enrichment Program The USQ Mathematics Enrichment Program is designed to improve mathematical problem solving skills in gifted year 9 and 10 students who demonstrate aptitude for mathematics above what is offered at the standard high school level. The Springfield program commences on Thursday 20 th July. Suit Up Careers Day Tuesday 30 th May from 10:00am- 2:00pm at Southern Cross University Gold Coast Campus Year 11 and 12 students are invited to explore study options and career opportunities in accounting, convention and event management, information technology, law, marketing and entrepreneurship, and tourism and hospitality management.

It assesses your ability to think critically and analyse the material given, rather than testing your knowledge of specific academic subjects. STAT is used by many tertiary institutions in Australia as part of their admissions procedure for certain categories of applicants.
