4 Game On Advertising Acquires AWA Assets McQueen to Continue Sponsorship with AAA Game On brand and to continue the legacy and vision that the Ogden family started right here in Northwest Arkansas, McQueen said. SPRINGDALE Game On Advertising Inc. of Springdale has brokered a deal with the owners of Athletic World Advertising Inc. to rescue a number of local jobs and to preserve the business relationships of the Fayetteville company. AWA, a producer of high-quality sports posters and schedule cards for high school and collegiate athletic departments, was in the process of downsizing a number of its 100 jobs. But, Mark Mc- Queen, president of Game On, said in a deal agreed upon that his firm has affectively been able to acquire the assets of AWA. McQueen credited Blake and Audra Ogden, the son and daughter of AWA s late chairman, Gregg Ogden, for their passion to take care of the employees who helped build AWA into a nationally respected organization. He added that already a vast majority of AWA Fayetteville employees have become Game On team members, and that they will not miss a beat with their paychecks. We are excited about the opportunity to continue building the McQueen, whose firm serves customers in 18 states including six universities, was founded in May McQueen said that Game On is excited to now be partnered with the University of Arkansas and several local organizations, making Game On the world s largest producer of sports promotional products. In the press release from the Bank of Fayetteville, they stated that Mark McQueen and his company Game On Advertising, LLC have acquired the assets of AWA. Its business is underway providing schools and colleges with top quality advertising. The Bank of Fayetteville welcomes Mr. McQueen s company, Game On Advertising, to the Northwest Arkansas community and wishes it continued prosperity and success under the leadership of Mr. McQueen. Sometimes in business challenges arise that are difficult and beyond our control, said McQueen. But like the Ogdens and AWA, Game On believes in its people and the relationships we create with our customers. The opportunity here is to work together to continue driving the industry standard upward for the great schools and programs that we serve.. COACHES EDUCATION IS REQUIRED FOR Full time licensed teachers employed in the district for professional duties who do not have a coaching endorsement or ADE approval to coach but the school desires to assign coaching duties to them. An additional component is the AAA State Rules Exam, a 35-question non sport-specific test over material from the current AAA Handbook and Sportsmanship Manual. Courses taken through other companies or organizations do not satisfy this requirement. Note: Competitive cheer and dance are sports and coaches who do not have the ADE coaching endorsement must take the coaches ed program.
