Sharyland High School Final Varsity 31-5A District Team Results for District Championships 5 District Runner-Ups 7 3 rd Place Teams 2 4 th Place Teams 2 5 th Place Teams 6 th Place Teams 4 7 th Place Teams 2 s Qualifying to Play-Offs, Regional Tournaments/Meets and State Competitions Football District 31-5A Champions - Bi-District Champions Area Finalist. Twelve of our football players made the THSCA Academic All-State Team this year. *** Volleyball District 31-5A 4 th Place team Bi-District Champions Area Finalist. Four of our girls earned Academic All-State Honors for the TGCA and THSCA. *** Girls Cross-Country Team District 31-5A Runner-Up We qualified a team of seven girls to the Region IV Meet. The team finished in 4 th Place at Regionals and advanced to the State Meet. Our 7 girls finished in 14 th Place at the State Meet *** Boys Cross-Country Team District 31-5A 6 th Place team. One male athlete qualified to the Region IV Meet. *** Team Tennis District 31-5A Champions Bi-District Champions - Area Champions Regional Quarterfinals Champions Regional Semi-Finalist - Region IV Team Tennis 3 rd Place Team. *** Girls Swimming and Diving District 32-5A 4 th Place Team 8 girls advanced to the Region VIII Swim Meet. Our girls finished in 9 th place out of 24 teams. *** Boys Swimming and Diving District 32-5A Runner-Up Region VIII Meet 5 th Place Team Six male athletes advanced to the State Swimming and Diving Meet. We finished in 19 th place out of 60 teams at State. Five athletes earned All-State honors. *** Girls Basketball District 31-5A 7 th Place Team ***
2 Boys Basketball District 31-5A 8 th Place Team One player was selected to play in the RGVBCA All-Star Game and the RGV Vipers All Star Showcase. Two players made the THSCA and the TABC Academic All-State Team. *** Girls Wrestling District 16-5A 6 th Place team 2 Girls qualified to the Region IV Tournament *** Boys Wrestling District 16-5A 6 th place finish 5 Boys qualified to the Region IV Tournament We had one wrestler that captured a Silver Medal and a 6 th place finisher. One wrestler qualified to the State Wrestling Tournament. He finished the state meet in 8 th Place. *** Boys and Girls Powerlifting 2 Males and 7 Females qualified to Regional Power Lifting Meet / 1 Male and 5 Females qualified for the State Powerlifting Meet. Our Male lifter finished in 10 th place. One of our Girls earned a 4th Place finish at State and two earned a 7 th place finish at State. *** Girls Soccer District 31-5A Champions Bi-District Champions - Area Finalist Two of our girls were selected to play in the RGVSCO All-Star Game. Three of our girls made the THSCA and TASCO Academic All-State Team. *** Boys Soccer District 31-5A Runner Up Bi-District Finalist Three of our boys were selected to play in the RGVSCO All-Star Game. One of our players received All Region honors. One of our boys earned THSCA and TASCO Academic All-State. *** Girls Golf Our #1 Team was District 31-5A District Champions Our #2 Team finished in 3 rd Place at district - Our #1 Girls Team were the Region IV-Team Champions One of our girls won the Regional Individual Championship. The Lady Rattler Golf Team Qualified for the UIL State Golf Tournament for the seventh consecutive year. Our Girls finished as the 5A State Runner-Up Team. Two of our golfers made the THSCA Academic All-State Team this year. Boys Golf District 31-5A Runner-Up - # 1 Team advanced to the Region IV Tournament. Boys team finished in 5 th place at Regionals. 1 male golfer won the Regional Golf Tournament One of our golfers made the THSCA Academic All-State Team this year. One of our boys qualified to the State Golf Tournament. He finished in 3 rd Place and earned a Bronze Medal. Girls Spring Tennis District 31-5A Champions 4 players qualified for the Region IV Tournament. Mixed Doubles Team advanced to the State Tournament. *** Boys Spring Tennis District 31-5A Runner-Up 2 players qualified for the Region IV Tournament. Mixed Doubles Team advanced to the State Tournament. *** Girls Track and Field District 31-5A Runner Up 15 Girls qualified to the Area Meet - Area 4th Place finish - 11 girls qualified to the Region IV Track Meet. Regional 12 th Place finish. One of our girls captured gold in the 1600 meter run and advanced to State. She finished in 8 th place in the 1600 meter run at the State Meet.***

One of boys captured gold in the Triple Jump and advanced to State.
