19 Minutes V. Consent Agenda & VI. Curriculum Items Discussion # 1 Course/Program Comments (1st Readings) Requestor Follow-Up Updated ACA 022E Commercial SLO 1 is not quite clear to me. Maybe "Students will be able to Diana Babayan Roof Framing determine the necessary materials and methods of construction needed to complete a gable roof construction project"? Discussion #5 Discussion #8 Discussion #9 Discussion #10 Discussion #11 Discussion #12 Discussion #13 Discussion #14 Discussion #15 AMF 024 Introduction to Modular Furnishing AMF 027 Modular Install - Advanced Hospital AMF 029 Wall and Overhead Attachments AMF 030 Crew Lead Training AMF 031 Modular Glass: Handling and AOE 021J Plant Equipment Operator 1 - Journeyman AOE 022J Plant Equipment Operator 2 - AOE 023J Plant Equipment Operator 3 - Journeyman AOE 024J Plant Equipment Operator 4 - What does "Substantial writing requirements are not appropriate for this course," mean? Is there usually a writing requirement? Not sure why it has to be mentioned. Is the grading cirteria supposed to be different than AMF ? Is the grading criteria supposed to be different than AMF ? The Catalog Entry could mention "crew" leadership training. The title is called Crew Lead Training, but nowhere does the COR mention "crew." Does it matter? The first sentence of the CP sounds like it should be in the CE. The "hands-on" statement is repeated in the CE and CP; it seems it belongs in the CE only. SLOs are identical to AOE 021, maybe state "...at a journeyman level..." Overall, the course seems identical to 021 SLOs are identical to AOE 021J Course content and objectives are identical to AOE 021J Maybe change the verb in third SLO from "Learn" to another word. Apply? Explain, Identify? Identical SLOs as AOE 023 Typo in Green Technology objective lecture box "available" SLO 3: same note as for AOE 023: change "learn" to reflect the actual outcome SLO #1--Students "who" successfully complete SLO 2: Same note as for AOE 024. What will the students do with the learning that has occurred? Mary Walker Diana Babayan Maureen Roe Diana Babayan Minutes Page 19

20 Minutes V. Consent Agenda & VI. Curriculum Items Course/Program Comments (1st Readings) Requestor Follow-Up Updated Journeyman If this is a more advanced course than AOE 024 (as indicated in the catalog entry), then the content/objectives should probably reflect this in some way. Identical SLOs as AOE 024 Identical content and objectives as AOE 024 Are you able to assess second SLO? Mary Walker Discussion #16 AOE 025J Plant Equipment Operator 5 - Journeyman Identical SLOs as AOE 025 Identical course content and objectives as AOE 025 Maybe something like "...at the journeyman level..." may help. I agree with Darlene's comments, and I'd advise rewriting SLO Diana Babayan 2. Discussion #17 AOE 026J Plant There seem to be two SLOs in the first one. Maybe separate Mary Walker Equipment Operator 6 - them or combine them into one? Journeyman Same notes as for 026. Diana Babayan Identical Course Purpose as AOE 026 Identical SLOs as AOE 026 Identical Course Content and Objectives as AOE 026 Also, I notice the workbooks are identical; is this why the instructor supplements- for the journeyman level? Discussion #18 BIOL 192 Biotechnology In SLO #1, what are the SOPs related to? Maureen Roe B: Proteins SLO 1--you might consider reversing the acronym SOP and the Diana Babayan actual wording. Discussion #23 TELV 122 Screenwriting for Digital Media In the catalog entry, "(web and new media - video game and app)" is confusing. Is that 2 or four types of scripts? SLO #2 seems like more than one SLO. Robert Miller Discussion #24 Discussion #25 TELV 124 Introduction to Digital Media Production TELV 126 Industrial Video Production (IVP) Do you want the course content to be chronological? Will content cover an introduction to editing software? Maybe break up the second SLO into two separate SLOs. The last part of this SLO seems like a separate set of skills. Robert Miller Mary Walker Minutes Page 20

However, your course listing states completetion of 061 or 060. If you want course completion of English 061, then the correct placement test score would be English 101. The same holds true for math. Either the course levels need to be lower in the course listing, or the placement scores need to be one course higher in each case.
