Presentation by Horace Mann students. 2. Presentation by Survive-A-Storm Shelters. 3. Presentation by AdvanceEd on Duncan High School Accreditation. 4. All of the following items, which concern reports and items of a routine nature normally approved at board meetings, will be approved by one vote unless any board member desires to have a separate vote on any or all of these items. The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration, and approval of the following items: a. Minutes of Meetings held March 11 and April 01, 2014 b. Income & Expenditure Report c. Cafeteria Reimbursement Report d. Cafeteria Monthly Report e. Treasurer s Monthly Report f. Investment Report 5. Discussion and possible action regarding Activity Fund Report. 6. Discussion and possible action regarding approval of Duncan Public Schools fundraisers (see attached list). 7. Discussion and possible action regarding approval of: a. Donation of $14,339 to Scott & Stacy Smith for medical expenses for son (includes medical equipment). b. Donation of $15,104 to Mark & Patti Thaxton for medical expenses for son (includes medical equipment). c. High School volleyball team to attend summer camp in Branson, Missouri July 16 July 20, 2014 and use of school vehicles or bus. d. Permission to have Reading Sufficiency Act summer school at Horace Mann and Woodrow Wilson Elementary - June 2-26, 2014 from 8:30a.m. 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday - request permission to hire teachers as warranted by class enrollment. e. Permission to have Title I Summer Program at Emerson Elementary June 2-26, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and hire teachers as warranted by class enrollment. f. Lodging for Decathlon team and (2 sponsors) at Nationals in Hawaii - $9,500. Paid out of activity account. g. Permission for Decathlon team to use school vehicle to travel to airport in Dallas, TX. h. Resolution for Schools and Libraries Universal Services (E-RATE) for
