4 Working full-time during my study, I was able to apply the leadership and marketing skills I learned directly to my professional life. I took the MBA to help expand my personal business. The Global MBA syllabus reflects the international marketplace by combining the latest in management theory with the practical skills that modern employers need. It is a comprehensive programme that explores fundamentals such as finance, strategic management, operations management, and marketing. You can either enrol on the standard programme with a fixed syllabus of six modules, or select one of 16 industry-related specialisations featuring two elective modules to tailor your degree to fit your career goals. 16 Global MBA 16 / 20 Ready for the next step? If you re ready to become part of our global online campus, here are a few things we ll need from you. Academic entry requirements A UK bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in any subject. Mature students If you don t have the necessary academic qualifications, you can still apply through our mature route. You will be asked to provide evidence of three years of relevant managerial work experience, plus transcripts of your highest qualifications achieved to date, which should be at NVQ level 5 or the equivalent. Applications via this route are assessed on a case-by-case basis. The Global MBA is a postgraduate course conducted in English, therefore evidence of an appropriate language level is required, e.g. an IELTS score of 5.5 in all bands, a bachelor s degree completed in English, or work experience in an English-speaking environment.
