There will be 24 exhibitors providing information on tertiary options- University and Tafe, Gap year/volunteer information, work place training and information from community organisations. Law Week 2016 Law Week is an annual festival of events that makes learning about the law easy. Held in May each year, Law Week has taken place across Victoria since This year Law Week will take place from Monday 16 May Sunday 22 May Students get to go behind the scenes of the Victorian legal system, and check out what the law is all about. Find out more about what is on in Law Week by browsing Law Week What's On? Hallmark Program The La Trobe Hallmark Program is a program for high-achieving students who are passionate about learning. This program provides students with opportunities to work in cross-disciplinary teams on some of the world's most pressing issues with access to and mentoring by leading researchers. Enrichment activities, such as an international study tour, are made possible through scholarship funds provided to all successful applicants. All successful applicants to the Hallmark Program also receive a Hallmark Program Scholarship valued at $10, 500 over 4 years to enable students to undertake a variety of enrichment activities including an International Study Tour.

3 Law at the University of Swinburne Swinburne s law school offers an undergraduate program that focuses on commercial law with emphasis on intellectual property law, and it is the only degree in Victoria with this specialisation. Swinburne is offering its Bachelor of Laws a 4-year program - for the first time in Focused on commercial law, with a distinct emphasis on intellectual property, technology, and innovation, it offers students a degree that stresses practical skills and real-world experience. The Swinburne Bachelor of Laws program is fully accredited by the Council of Legal Education in Victoria and offers students the option of a single degree or combined program with arts, science, business or engineering. The VCE prerequisites are Units 3 and 4 a study score of at least 30 in any English. However, in line with the University s commitment to equity and inclusion, students can still apply to receive up to five equity bonus points through the UAC Educational Access Scheme. The School of Psychological Sciences has confirmed that the Psychology sequence will no longer be available in the Bachelor of Commerce. So, moving forward, the Psychology pathway will only be available via the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Science at Melbourne. The easiest pathway for Commerce students who are interested in eventually pursuing psychology is to undertake the Graduate Diploma in Psychology after completion of their undergraduate degree. Should a student like to sample Psychology during their undergraduate study, they could choose Mind, Brain and Behaviour 1 as a breadth subject and then get credit for this in the Graduate Diploma.
