1 Giving Thanks Jesuits offered Lenten mornings of reflection and liturgies in Chicago, Cincinnati, Naples, Palm Beach, and Scottsdale in gratitude for the prayerful partnership of friends and benefactors. Fr. Jim Gartland, SJ, offered Lenten reflections which were enjoyed by Betty and Martin McNulty in Chicago. A record attendance in Naples for Fr. Pat McGrath s Lenten reflections included Elaine Brennan, Eileen Nelson, Dick Brennan, Charlie and Shirley Pechous, Lee and Celeste O Donnell. Fr. McGrath greets Bob and Mary Foley prior to the Palm Beach liturgy. Fr. Gartland greets Rosemary and John Croghan in Chicago. Mary Claire Torbeck, Fr. McGrath, Mary Jane A Hearn, Dick A Hearn, Phil Maechling, Lisa Debbeler, and Suzanne Diehl begin Lent with an Ash Wednesday morning of reflection and liturgy in Naples. 3 In gratitude for Partnership The provincial of Peru, Fr. Carlos Rodriguez, SJ, visited donors and friends in Cincinnati and Chicago to offer gratitude for the 50 years of service by US Jesuits to the people of Peru. Cincinnati The late Fr. Kevin E. Gallagher, SJ, served for 43 years in Peru. He was celebrated by Kevin s cousins: Fr. Tom Kennealy, SJ, Andy Gallagher, and Ann Schoen. Fr. In Remembrance Many Jesuit programs have benefited from the extraordinary generosity of donors who became members of the Magis Society and chose to remember the province in their estate plans. Marie Morin Shaw, Juan Cajahuaman, Fr. Foley, and Kevin Hurley enjoyed discussing lay and Jesuit service to the people of Peru. Bob and Madge Erlenbaugh, sister of Fr.
