The answers related to ETPs f an occupation have no bearing on an occupation s inclusion on the Target Occupation List. 1. Approximately 20 to 25 target occupations are recommended. Occupations must crespond to a six-digit SOC code. Target occupations do not have to be listed in any specific der. 2. Basis f Selection: Key types of lab market indicats are available in Infmation (LMCI) tools f use in evaluating and ranking the relative imptance of occupations. Boards must fully exple this data in their analyses, so they can identify what data elements they will use in selecting target occupations. 3. ETP Questions: If a Board does not have an ETP in the area, Boards should wk with employers and eligible training providers to develop a curriculum f the occupation. An occupation shall not be excluded a lack of current training providers. 4. Additional Rationale & Local Wisdom: This column is to identify any additional indicats used in targeting the occupation, and, if applicable, must include infmation on local wisdom that further suppts validates the imptance of the target occupation in the wkfce area. This may include, but need not be limited to, infmation gained from surveys of employers; local regional lab market occupational studies; other infmation gained from industry, economic development, professional occupational
