7 Important Days Celeration Praytan Diwas----- Celebration at Itihasic Gurudwara Daswin Patshai, Nadaun Important Days celebrated Mahatma Gandhiji s Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastriji s Birthday. Speeches were given in the morning assembly by the students to throw light on the great leaders lives. National Education Day- 11th November. Speeches were given in the morning assembly by the students to throw light on the Molana Abul Kalam Azad. National Pollution Day (2nd December) - A debate was organized on the topic Should Plastics be banned? National Energy Conservation day (14th December) - A drawing and Slogan writing competition was conducted. Grandparents Day Our Vidyalaya celebrated Grandparents day on 20-12-2017 to develop regard and respect among primary students

She spoke about the importance of Grandparents day where she emphasized that grand-parents are the most wonderful people in the life

They are the ones who are responsible for passing on wisdom, values and principles from one generation to another generation.

The winners were given prizes. The grand-parents were delighted to attend this function; they shared their experiences with everyone.

8 Grandparents Day Our Vidyalaya celebrated Grandparents day on to develop regard and respect among primary students towards Elders. Around 294 Grandparents attended the celebration. Mrs Vinita Parsheera welcomed all the invitees. She spoke about the importance of Grandparents day where she emphasized that grand-parents are the most wonderful people in the life of a person as they give unconditional love to their grandchildren which never fades with the passage of time. They are the ones who are responsible for passing on wisdom, values and principles from one generation to another generation. A short cultural Programme like dances, songs, speeches and interesting games were organized for the grandparents. The winners were given prizes. The grand-parents were delighted to attend this function; they shared their experiences with everyone. The grand-parents were honored with a greeting card made by children every one appreciated the gesture and the efforts taken for them. Education is not preparation for life, education is life itself.
