1 Heriot Watt MBA and Heriot Watt MBA with specialisms Unlike many other MBA programmes, the Heriot Watt University MBA has an open entry policy, allowing candidates without a degree (or alternative qualification) or experience, the opportunity to enrol on a prestigious UK MBA programme. Candidates wishing to take advantage of this open entry, are able to do so by passing the first three modules of the MBA programme which form a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Accounting. Students who enter the MBA programme via the open entry route will be admitted on to the MBA programme, but will not be officially registered with the Edinburgh Business School until they have passed the Postgraduate Certificate stage. However, candidates who have successfully completed the ACCA Qualification will be exempted from two of the core modules.
