Private Tennis Lessons Tennis Court Bookings Tuesday/Thursday Ladies Social Friday/Saturday Late Night Socials Private Lessons: Single Semi-Private Lessons: 2 People Semi-Private Lessons: 3 People Private Lessons: 4 People $17.60/Hour (2 Hours max per day) $7.50/Drop-in or $60.00/10 visits $16.90/Drop-in Or $135.20/10 visits 2 $48.43/hour $26.63/hour per person $21.79/hour per person $16.95/hour per person Court rental fees, as well as time and days are subject to change and cancellations. Rentals are first come first serve and subject to availability. Payment is required at time of booking. No refund or credit issued after a booking is made; only rescheduled within 7 days of cancellation made. A cancelled court booking may be rebooked within 7 days, if 24 hours advanced notice is provided. Courts can be only be rebooked/rescheduled once. If cancelled within 24 hours, the original court booking may be rebooked within the same day if available. No refunds, no credits. Adult morning socials are Tuesday/Thursday/Friday ladies social. For the ladies socials you may call one hour before the session to book a spot. For Friday and Saturday late night socials, you may call two hours before the session to book a spot. Payment is required at time of booking. No re-entry privileges for the late night social. All socials are subject to change and cancellation. Report all incidents/accidents and court disputes to the front desk. Private instruction/coaching is not permitted. Tennis ball machine is not for public rental. Tax included in all prices listed. Please see page of the Fall 2016 Recreation Guide ( parksrec/about/guide.htm) for further Tennis details and Tennis Canada s self-rating guide for skill assessment with regards to registered courses. All Steveston Community Centre tennis instructors have current tennis certifications and have extensive experience teaching adults and children. After your first lesson with an instructor you will have the opportunity to book more lessons or try another instructor. Please note there are limited times and spaces available due to high demand for lessons. Please fill out a Private Lesson Request Form or contact our Racquet Sports Coordinator Stephen Thom at or sthom@richmond.ca for further questions and details regarding private lessons. Lesson times are not guaranteed, subject to space and availability. All private lessons must be paid at the time of booking Private lessons may be booked one month in advance. 48 hours notice must be provided to reschedule lesson. No refunds or credits issues. Short Programs (1 week or less) and Camps If less than one week s notice is given, 50% of the fee will be refunded. If notice is given on or after the start date of the program, no refund will be given. Transfers will be allowed with 72 hours of notice prior to the start date. 15
