1 ASSOCIATION REPORT B.SC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ESTABLISHED IN THE YEAR 2001 STUDENT STRENGTH : 145 STAFF STRENGTH : 3 SEMINARS All department Association inaugural was conducted on and the department report was read by Mrs. M.A. Shanti and the students exhibited their talents by presented papers related to disabled instrument Exhibition on E Waste was organized in our college on Nearly 200 items were exhibited in the auditorium. 21to Final year students attended 3 days workshop on College to Corporate conducted by Dr.K. Alex, St.Joseph college,trichy ASSOCIATIONS On our department inaugurated AN EDC cell and we purchased a Spiral Binding machine for the Entrepreneured Development Cell of our student.

2 Work shop on Hardware was conducted by our department. The chief guest Mr.S. Jagadesh explained the internal structure of the system Our department valedictory function was held on and the students received certificates for the project course form the chief guest Mr. T. Balachandar, Spansys Technology. PARTICIPATION OF STAFF & STUDENTS Students were taken to Book Fair organized by Government of Tamilnadu at Thanjavur Saraswathi mahal S. Sivasankari from III IT elected as a Sports Secretary, S. Sushmitha (III IT) as a Communication Minister, A. Ayisha caris as Cultural Secretary and T. Lathika as a Vice Secretary

3 V. Kokila from II IT won I prize in poetry competition organized by Tamil department for Mother feed Awarness programme celebration. Ms. S. Subha (III IT) and S. Sudharsana Priya II IT won I and II prize in Independence Day B. SUDHARSANA PRIYA Mrs. M.A. Shanti judged the Quiz competition in National seminar organized by Computer science department Our department staff Mrs. P. Anusha won III prize in cooking competiton on Teachers Day celebration Mrs. M.A. Shanti judged the event Sudukko in Ganith, organized by Maths department R. Lavanya and K. Mathumitha participated in Talent Trust and, T. Lathika and Julaika Safrin won II Prize in Quiz competition organized by BBA department. 21& Our department and BBA won I prize in Cribb and Carol competition for Suppose Christmas celebration Mrs. P. Anusha participated in cooking competition and our department students Ms. Kavitha, K.Priyadharshini Ms. Anusya M. Bhuvaneswari, P. Malathiand S. Kowsalya won II Prize in group song on suppose pongal organized by Tamil department Mrs. M.A. Shanti department judged the event ADSAB in COMSAT,organized by commerce

4 A Technical event ICSTE was organized by computer science department. Our department students R. Subha and R. Dhivya won II prize in Tis for Tat, R. Monika and K.S. Gowri won I prize in Silent mode, Ms. Vyshali and Vijayabharathi got participant certificate. OUTSIDE PRESENTATION (STUDENTS) S. Sushmitha and A. Noor Nachiya won I Prize in ITRIX 15 at Annai college of Arts and Science, Kovilachery M. Shajeedha Banu and H. Amitha Farveen and a team presented paper on Tamilnadu Cattle Information System and won II prize cash award of Rs. 7500, organized by Mr. Subbaiaya, District collector of Thanjavur to students from our department attended a Training programme organized by TVS company, Ambattur, Chennai. they were selected for various jobs. SPORTS 4& B. Sivasankari, G. Gayathri, and S.Subhalakshmi won Runnerup in Bharathidasan Inter college Volleyball Tournament at Poombhuhar college, Melaiyur. 7& B. Sivasankari from III IT won silver medal in shotput in Bharathidasan Inter Collegiate Athlet meet at A.V.V.M. Sri Pushapam College. 25& B. Sivasankari and Lakshmi Priya won I place in Bharathidasan Inter collegiate Ball Badminton Tournament organized by Bharathidasan University. 26to B. Sivasankari participated and received certificates in Junior State Volleyball tournament conducted at Bharath Vidhya Bhavan matric Hr. Sec. school, Thindal, Erode K. Lakshmi Priya won I Place in CM Trophy District level Ball Badminton at Annai Sathya Stadium. 3 & B. Sivasankari won II Place cash award of Rs. 750 in Volleyball Match and won II Place cash award of Rs. 750 in Athlet in District level CM Trophy at Sathya stadium, Thanjavur. 21& B. Sivasankari won III place in Bharathidasan Inter Collegiate Handball Tournament at A.V.V.M. Sri Pushapam College, Thanjavur 13to B. Sivasankari from III IT participated in the state Level Youth Match Volleyball Tournament at Veludaiyar school, Thiruvaiyaru, organized by Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu.

5 B. Sivasankari, S. Subhalakshmi, R. Vyshali and S. Priyadharshini won I Prize in Volleyball match and B. Sivasankari, S. Subhalakshmi, E. Belvina sindhiya won II prize and S. Priyadharshini in Throwball match and G. Gayathri won I prize in Throwball match and II prize in Kabadi. B. Sivasankari won I prize in Shotput and Discuss Throw in College Sports Day celebration. The overall championship won by IT and BBA department. 10to B. Sivasankari participated in south zone Inter university Volleyball tournament, conducted by Krishna university, Machilipatinam,Andrapradesh. 18to B. Sivasankari won II Place cash award of Rs in CM Trophy Divisional level Volleyball tournament at Pudhukkottai stadium. CULTURAL K. Revathi from I IT participated in Dance competition at Bonsecours college, Thanjavur.
