3 INTRODUCTION Every month in The Southern Cross, the official publication of the Archdiocese of Adelaide, we feature stories of people doing great work for the Catholic Church in the areas of social justice, community welfare, education and Church ministries. To further highlight the breadth and diversity of the Catholic Church, this directory has brought together in one easy-to-use guide the many archdiocesan and diocesan agencies, parishes, schools and Catholicinspired organisations operating in South Australia today. It is intended to be a useful guide for Church volunteers and workers, and for those people requiring assistance in finding a Mass centre, a school and a community, health or aged care service.
