9 Year 4 Camp Activities Low Ropes - a course with varying degrees of difficulty. Builds on trust, communication and team work. Raft building - groups are given basic materials and have to construct their own raft and test it on the river. Trust and initiative activities Archery Orienteering

10 Year 5 Camp Higher Ground Mary Valley 3 days, 2 nights 1 ½ hours north of Brisbane

11 Year 5 Camp Activities Team Building initiatives. Survival Skills creating fire. Trust and Communication- students learn valuable skills needed to work together and support each other. Obstacle Course - encompasses Leadership, Problem Solving and Team Building skills. Activities involve height, water, mud and enclosed spaces. Sugar Glider- a group activity enabling each student the chance of gliding through the air as their friends help to haul them up on the belay system.

16 Location Elanda Point 28 minutes North West of Noosa Lies within the ha, of Cooloola Recreational Area Bordered by Lake Cootharaba and the Great Sandy National Park Located in the middle of the most Northern and Southern boundaries for migratory birds, hence one third of all Australia s bird species are found in this zone..that s more than Kakadu!

17 What will the camp achieve Fosters resilience in each student through the participation in the physical and mental challenges associated with each camp activity and the daily processes of camp life. Encourage reflection on personal development and spiritual experience and how this contributes to an authentic community that is responsive to the needs of all members. Through participation in the camp program encourage student s to consider leadership qualities in themselves and others. Instil an appreciation for the environment and an understanding of sustainable practices.
