2 Responsible to: Accountable to: Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies Programme Lead ean, Faculty of Health and Society Overall Purpose The Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) team within the division of Psychology at the University of Northampton is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who can contribute to our teaching and related activities in Psychological Therapies whilst pursuing postgraduate studies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our Systemic Family Practice (SFP), nhanced vidence Based Practice (BP) and Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) programmes within IAPT. You should be a highly motivated individual, able to contribute teaching support on these programmes. A willingness and ability to support teaching on a wide range of Modules would be expected. You should have a relevant degree in psychology (eligible for BPS GBC). You will make a full contribution to the teaching of psychology and related activities across the undergraduate and possibly postgraduate levels. You may be expected to contribute to other areas of activity in the Faculty of Health and Society. The successful candidate will register for postgraduate studies with the ivision of Psychology and a fee waiver will be applied. The ivision of Psychology is able to supervise Phs in the following areas: Health Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, evelopmental Psychology and/or ducational Psychology, Children and Families, Positive Psychology, Transpersonal Psychology, Anomalous Psychology Principal uties and Responsibilities The balance and distribution of activities will vary between post holders and may vary from year to year; and will be allocated within the context of the University of Northampton workload guidance and in association with objectives agreed at PR. Learning, Teaching and Assessment Plan and deliver teaching and learning for students using appropriate media, including the use of IT Undertake necessary assessment activities ngage in critical reflection on practice as a basis for improving performance Contribute to innovation in learning, teaching, assessment and curriculum development with the aim of meeting the needs of learners Provide support and guidance to students Translate professional experience into the academic context as appropriate ngage in staff development activities relating to teaching, learning and assessment Provide learning and teaching support through contributing to Open ays and/or student inductions Where appropriate, supervise/co-supervise student research projects and act as personal tutor Research and Scholarly Activity Identify and conduct research and scholarly activity which is relevant to the lecturing role and /or agreed by Page 1

5 Terms and Conditions of mployment Job Title: uration: Hours: Salary: Work Base: Pension: Holidays: Fixed term: 2 years Part time: 0.7 FT Grade 6: 26,495-32,548 per annum, pro rata Park Campus or any of The University of Northampton premises as required ligible to join the Teachers Pension Pro rata 35 days per annum plus Bank Holidays and Closed days.
