1 HEAD OF GIRLS BOARDING Information for candidates Required for January 2018 The closing date for applications is Wednesday 5 th July Interviews will take place from Monday 10 th July 2017.
2 THE SCHOOL Lambrook is an award-winning independent day and boarding preparatory school for 530 girls and boys set in a stunning 52 acre estate in Berkshire. Lambrook offers excellence in independent education and attracts, develops and inspires some of the country s best teaching talent. PROVEN TRACK RECORD In our recent inspection, Lambrook was rated `excellent in every area examined from the quality of pupils achievements in learning, provision of boarding and extra-curricular activities, through to the care we provide to our pupils. Lambrook was awarded School of the Year 2016 by Tatler.
3 A DISTINCTIVE APPROACH The school is a forward-thinking yet traditional school with a strong family ethos. Founded in 1860, the school has a rich history of success and is proud of its reputation as one of the leading prep schools in the country. Over the years, a number of facilities have been added including a well-equipped Science and IT block, a new Pre Prep building, an all-weather pitch and a senior classroom block built around a refurbished squash court. In February 2013, doors opened to a state of the art Performing Arts Centre and this was followed by a complete renovation of a classroom block to add additional teaching areas to cater for our healthy pupil numbers. A new 25m indoor swimming pool opened in 2015 to further enhance the existing range of outstanding facilities at Lambrook.
