2 PROJECT TASK (Assignment 03) Assessment Criteria Maximum Mark K2 Identify the benefits of budgeting skills and time-management 4 C2 Explain the necessity of time-management and financial planning to ensure a stable life style A2 Prepare a balanced budget plan 10 A3 Organise a personal week plan timetable 10 A5 Develop practice and engagement of critical thinking 10 Total Marks: 39 5 Project Task Assignment Brief You will be asked to create or set up an event which primarily includes your Planning skills for such a task. This task will address primarily; budgeting skills, time management and an evaluation of the outcomes. You will be asked to fillin a number of worksheets in preparation for this event in addressing the above Assessment Criteria. These worksheets will help you plan in reaching your set specified goal. The worksheets will facilitate and help you accompany your planning processes with a; personalized week plan, a to-do list and a prioritizing strategy. For this Project Task you will have to form groups of not more than 5 students in each group and work together to create an event or activity with the goal of helping and supporting a Registered Voluntary Organization (holding an official VO Number) or other entity approved by your ISR Lecturer. Your event can in a positive outcome generate funds or economic contributions to the Official Voluntary Organization/s but can also be made in kind by contributing your team s time to the identified VO. Students will be asked to: Describe in brief the Project Task. Create a prioritizing strategy in order to establish the Event Goal and Objective behind the project. Create a plan for all the required resources and establish the necessary contacts and approvals with the identified Voluntary Organization. (Proof of communication with the VO has to be included in your write-up). Organize a Team. Set a Date for the Project/Event. Brand Your Event on Social Media and other internet websites. Create an Event Plan for those attending. Determine the list of processes and tasks for each member of the team for the event/activity. Each slide should contain an image or picture from your work and participation on this Project/Event. Each slide should contain no more than 2 sentences. Print the presentation with 4 slides per page and on double-side printing on both sides of the paper. A soft copy of the Power-Point Presentation has to be sent to your lecturer via MCAST by the set deadline of 3rd May Please ensure to print this Assignment and fill-in your responses in your own hand-writing.
