2 Part II Course Details 1. Abstract (A 150-word description about the course) The aim of this module is to provide students an understanding of the principles and techniques used in the improvement and measurement of work methods and procedures, as well as creating effective and efficient organisation structures and systems over a wide field of commercial, administrative and manufacturing activities. The objective is to equip students with the ability to use and apply the techniques of method study, work measurement, motion study and organisation study to improve productivity in different industries. 2. For a student to pass the course, at least 30% of the maximum mark for the examination should be obtained. 3
