3 Introduction This Fact Book represents basic data about Eastern University. It provides a snapshot of information about entering students, all students, and employees during the academic year. The goal of this Fact Book is to provide, in one location, information about the institution for prospective and current students, alumni, employees, donors, and researchers. One important note about the information contained in this year s Fact Book: Due to institutional reorganization in , there have been several changes to the academic structure of the university. The College of Arts and Sciences, which used to house all of the undergraduate programs for traditionallyaged undergraduate students, now houses both traditional and non-traditional students in Associate and Bachelor degree programs in a much narrower field of academic disciplines. Other traditional and nontraditional undergraduate students and graduate students are now counted in one of the four other colleges at Eastern. Academic disciplines that were offered in The Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies for adult (often non-traditional) students are now housed in the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Leadership, the College of Biblical and Theological Studies and Ministry, the College of Education or the College of Health and Social Sciences. In addition, Palmer Theological Seminary, while still reported separately in some of the Fact Book tables, is housed in the College of Biblical and Theological Studies and Ministry. Esperanza College remains unaffected by the institutional reorganization. Data in this Fact Book is presented according to the new institutional structure. Past student data may be found by clicking on the links to past Fact Books or the Common Data Set. If additional information is required, please contact the Office of Institutional Research by clicking the link Request Information from Institutional Research at the bottom of the Research and Reporting at Eastern web page or on the Contact Information page at the end of this document. Thank you for your interest in Facts about Eastern University. Thomas A. Dahlstrom, Director, Institutional Research Joy Duval Greco, Associate Director Laura Sturgill, Research Analyst
