3 This Week s Updates: AIR Tests Begin April 9 All A.I.R. and End of Course test takers, including those re-testing in a specific area, should arrive at school at their regular time and report to their assigned location no later than 7:33 AM. Non-test takers need to arrive two hours after their regular time and then report to 1 st period at 9:33AM. Those non-test taking students that absolutely cannot arrange for alternate transportation will need to report to the cafeteria upon regular arrival by 7:33AM. Students will not be permitted to be in the hallways during testing. The high school will operate on the following bell schedule on A.I.R/EOC testing dates: A.I.R./EOC Testing Schedule A.I.R. Tests: 7:33 9:33 1 st Period: 9:33 10:03 2 nd Period: 10:06 10:34 3 rd Period: 10:37 11:05 4 th Period: 11:08 11:36 5A Lunch: 11:39 12:09 5A Class: 12:12 12:57 5B Class: 11:39 12:24 5B Lunch: 12:27 12:57 6 th Period: 1:00 1:28 7 th Period: 1:31 1:59 8 th Period: 2:02 2:30 Tests will be administered in the following subjects on the dates indicated: April 23 and 24: Biology and Government: (Students taking the tests for the 1st time) - Non-testing students on 2 hour delay April 25 and 26: Algebra I: (Students taking the tests for the 1st time) - Non-testing students on 2 hour delay April 27 and May 1: Geometry: (Students taking the tests for the 1st time) - Non-testing students on 2 hour delay May 2 and 3: American History May 4 and 11: Make-up Dates. All students report at regular time.

4 Blood Drive For the last blood drive on May 15, the NHS is planning a "blood battle" with Circleville High School to see who can donate the most blood. This drive will be the same as it usually is, but we will just compare our numbers to CHS to see who won. We are hoping this event will raise more awareness to the importance of blood donation and get some new donors in the process. Westfall's Red Cross representative will come speak to eligible students to explain the event and the importance of blood donation. She will be here to speak during advisory on May 9 to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Business-Tech College Week Each day this week, there will be a different college representative speaking to Mr. Norris & Mrs. Unverferth s Classes, in room 112 (Unverferth) Monday: Northwood University Northwood University is a private university located in Midland, Michigan. Northwood focuses primarily on degrees in the Business & Technology Fields. Since they have a smaller focus area, they are able to provide students with valuable hands on experience and get them a 4 year bachelor s degree in just 3 years. Northwood also has an excellent job placement office that will help students start their career after they graduate. Tuesday: Bowling Green State University Bowling Green State University is a public institution in northwest ohio. BGSU is located in the small college town of Bowling Green, OH. They have a picturesque campus and offer a variety of activities and clubs for student life.bgsu has excellent programs for Business, Education, Biology, Criminal Justice & Engineering as well as many others. There are hundreds of programs offered at BGSU all with excellent faculty striving to see you succeed. Wednesday: The Ohio State University A representative from the Business department at the Ohio State University will be joining us on Wednesday to discuss admission requirements, program details and student life on the Ohio State Campus. Thursday: Daymar College This national recognize 2 year technical school will be coming to discuss the various online degree s that daymar college has to offer as well as the programs they offer on their columbus campus. With Small class sizes and faculty helping you to succeed. Daymar is a great option for receiving a two year associate degree and entering the workforce before your peers. Friday: Bradford School Bradford College offers degree programs in 4 areas: Culinary Arts, Medical Assisting, Physical Therapy Assistant, and Veterinary Technology. This school allows you to get your associate's degree in just 18 months!. Bradford will be providing various career-based presentations for each class period. Their schedule includes:

This is how it will work: 1. Row of graduates will stand 2. Graduate s name will be read 3. Graduate AND faculty/staff member will exit the row and proceed to the exchange point at the 50 yard line in front of podium a. Faculty/staff member will obtain diploma from one of the board members attending to the diploma table. Board members will take turns attending to the table. b. If student has not chosen a faculty/staff member, then board member will proceed to exchange point with diploma 4. Graduate receives diploma at exchange point 5. Faculty/staff member AND graduate return to their seat as illustrated. (graduate will walk behind the band/choir) 6. Rinse, Lather, and Repeat as needed
