37 Helpful Hints All freshmen sign up f 8 credits. The ce courses that all freshmen take include: English, Biology, Wld Geography, Algebra 1 Geometry. In addition, it is wise to begin ( continue) your Language other than English credit as a freshman. We offer Spanish, German, American Sign Language French. We strongly recommend you take an elective course relating to your endsement. Be sure to refer to the Academic Planning Guide to make sure you are choosing prerequisite classe needed f higher level courses programs at AHS. You may sign up f on-level classes advanced classes a combination of both. Advanced courses are very rigous may require extra prep time outside of class during the week. Refer to the Advanced Academics hout in the registration packet f me infmation about advanced courses. If you are currently in Math 8, sign up f Algebra 1 Algebra I Pre-AP/IB If you are currently in Algebra 1, sign up f Geometry Geometry Pre-AP/IB If you choose a one-semester class (1/2 credit course), you MUST choose another one-semester course to add up to one full credit.
