1 Last night at the MCHS District #111 Board of Education meeting, the Board: Recognized the following students: o Boys Track and Field All-State Athletes Dominic Ruettiger-Pole Vault Brandon Adams-400 M Dash Antonio Hayden-High Jump Jordan Freese, Matt Schofield, Jason Hoffman, and Hector Ramos-4X800 Relay Heard from the following members of the public during the public comments portion of the regular meeting: o Jon Ryan spoke to the BOE about an Athletic Hall of Fame at Minooka Community High School Approved the MCHS #111 Board of Education Meeting Schedule Adopted a resolution of Prevailing Wage Was informed that the next meeting for The District #111 Foundation for Educational Excellence will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 5:00 in rom 263 at Central Campus. Learned that Action Team Leaders for the Strategic Plan have submitted action plan drafts to Dr. Lee, who is reviewing them with the Consortium for Educational change. A draft of the action plans will be available to the BOE prior to the July committee meeting. Received the results of the district survey discussion conducted by Director of Community Relations Dave DiLorenzo

3 Approved an extended unpaid leave of absence following an FMLA period for Sara Dzak from approximately 09/18/2018 through 05/31/2019 (the balance of the FY19 school year) Approved the employment of the following certified staff member(s) for the 2018/2019 school year pending proper paperwork and background check deemed favorable by the MCHS #111 Administration: o Serpe, Carli-Social Studies Teacher (BA/1; $40,599) o Kipp, Kathy-English Teacher (MA/8; $54,711) o Krol, Karolyn-Spanish Teacher (BA/8; $50,102) o White, Tyler part-time (8/12) Music Teacher (BA/Step 4; $35,542.40) Approved the following employment of support staff for the 2018/19 school year as presented, pending proper paperwork and background check deemed favorable by the MCHS #111 Administration Laura Wills -ARC Aide-$18.73/hr Kassie Maricle - ARC Aide-$17.23/hr Morgan Owens - Secretary for Special Services-$17.21/hr. The salary is to be $142,743.58, with additional salary data after this school year is to TBD

5 Approved a memorandum of understanding with the Minooka Support Staff Union regarding the summer receptionist position at Central Campus Approved the individual student discipline for Student A as identified in closed session as amended. The meeting adjourned at: 10:43 PM
