1 About the Event The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) is the global work body that connects insights and network among public transport stakeholders. Our Metro Division organizes an annual Assembly for the discussion of latest development in metro railway sector, and our Asia Pacific Division organizes the annual Assembly for the regional members, to exchange insights which are of importance to the development of sustainable mobility. In 2014, the 14 th UITP AP Assembly will be held in conjunction with the 91 st UITP Metro Assembly, in Hong Kong, China. The events are hosted by MTR Corporation, Hong Kong, China. To address the growing concern of sustainable mobility in Hong Kong, the 14 th UITP Asia Pacific Assembly will discuss issues around the theme of Grow with Sustainable Mobility. The event targets to reach over 200 public transport experts and practitioners in the AP region and worldwide. Venue and Organizing Team A dedicated team under MTR is formed to lead the organization of the events, with the assistance of the UITP secretariat offices in Brussels and Hong Kong. The scientific programme will be decided by the Metro Committee and Asia Pacific Executive Committee respectively. The venue of the event will be Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers. 3 Partnership Opportunities The event provides a prominent platform for members and partners to connect their brands and products to many stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region. A description of the opportunities are listed below. 1. Lunches Number of opportunities: Two (2) HKD 150,000 each (for UITP members only) HKD 250,000 each (for non members) These lunches are key social events which allow participants to engage in light hearted business exchange opportunities. The occasion provides excellent branding opportunities. Free style standing buffet lunch will be served. Logo acknowledgement on the last Transition Slide before lunch session; Logo acknowledgement at the buffet serving corner; Logo acknowledgement on table tops and decorations; Distribution of gifts, brochures or other corporate materials during the lunch time; A one page A4 insert in the Delegate Folder (to be provided by sponsor); Two (2) free registrations to the event. Simultaneous Interpretation Number of opportunities: One (1) HKD 150,000 (for UITP members only) HKD 240,000 (for non members) To reach out to the non English speaking audience, this opportunity of sponsoring the simultaneous interpretation service in English and Cantonese (or the choice of Putonghua) is the best means. Audio Visual Equipment Number of opportunities: One (1) HKD 80,000 (for UITP members only) HKD 130,000 (for non members) First class audio visual equipment and smooth running of technical arrangements are vital for a world class event. This sponsorship opportunity provides around the clock visibility to your brands and companies.
