1 Academic Calendar Lake Michigan College has two semesters and an optional summer term. Fall and Spring semesters and Summer term are each fourteen (14) weeks. Each may offer a variety of class session lengths: fourteen (14) weeks, seven (7) weeks, and five (5) weeks; the summer term also offers ten (10)-week class sessions. Any course which is less than fourteen (14) weeks in length, except clinical-based courses, is taught in an accelerated format. This calendar is subject to change. Dates and events are added or updated as information becomes available.
