1 Introduction Thank you for participating in this ASPPH-member survey on the cost of completing an MPH degree and graduate assistantship stipends. The results will inform member bench-marking and decisionmaking efforts, and also provide information for initiatives undertaken by the association on behalf of all ASPPH-member institutions, such as advocacy. This survey is sanctioned by the ASPPH Data Advisory Committee. Given the large number of degrees awarded at ASPPH-member institutions and the fact that the MPH is the most common degree, this initial study on the cost of completing a public health degree will focus on the master s in public health (MPH). Since there is variability within the MPH degree itself, this survey asks for information on the most common MPH degree awarded at your institution. Further definitions are included in the survey in order to provide the most comparable data possible. Please note that this initial cost of degree study also requests historical cost data. You may preview the survey questions here, prior to completing the survey. 1
