Professors Upto 3 Years 2. Associate Professors Upto 4 Years 3. Assistant Professors; and Upto 5 Years 4. Tutors Upto 3 years. The contract period may be renewed on satisfactory performance and subject to the maximum age limit of 65 years. OTHER ALLOWANCES:. Accommodation within the campus, if available on payment of standard rent as may be fixed. 2. Sponsorship of the Institute for attending One State Conference in a year and one International Conference every two years, provided paper is presented; 3. Free treatment for self and family (spouse, dependent children and dependent parents) as per existing medical reimbursement rules of Government of Andhra Pradesh; 4. L.T.C. every 2 years for Home Town and every 4 years any where in India;

2 5. Permission for pay clinic, if any, run by the concerned Government Medical College / Hospital / Arogyasri patients / public as decided by the Executive Board. ELIGIBILITY As per the MCI norms of minimum qualification of teachers in Medical Institutions regulations 998. PROFESSOR The applicant shall be a doctor with Post Graduate Degree in any Medical Speciality recognized by the M.C.I. / D.C.I. Worked as Reader / Associate Professor in the speciality for 4 years in a recognized Medical College. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Worked as Assistant Professor / Lecturer in the Speciality for 5 years in a recognized Medical College. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Requisite recognized Post Graduate Qualification in the subject. TUTOR M.B.B.S / Post Graduate Diploma / M.Sc for Non Medical persons for Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry / Bio-Physics. DESIRABLE Minimum of 4 Research Publications Indexed in Index Medicus / National journal for Associate Professor and Professor and one research publication in International journal in addition is desirable for Professor posts. METHOD OF APPOINTMENT The appointment of the Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Tutor shall be made by the Selection Committee of the Institution duly following the rule of reservation for SC s, ST s, BC s, Women, P.H. for appointment to the posts.
