Project is an effort of the National Forum on the Science of Early Childhood Program Evaluation. Acted as effect size specialist coaching teams of RA s across five universities on how to determine study effect sizes. Duties included producing guidelines for the group on effect size coding, aiding in developing code book for meta-analysis, and conducting coding of relevant studies Research Assistant, Working Families Project, University of Chicago Principal Supervisor: Ariel Kalil Provided research assistance on a study examining the effects of job loss for the families of middle-aged managers and professionals. Helped to develop qualitative and quantitative survey instruments. Coded transcripts and conducted qualitative analysis of codes. Compiled database of quantitative data, developed codebook for the database, and ran statistical analyses of data. Conducted literature reviews and other research for use in academic papers.
