Deadline for submissions is August 15, In addition, Tennessee internal medicine residents, MD and DO medical students, and internists practicing in the State of Tennessee, are eligible to enter our sixth annual ACP Tennessee Chapter Narrative Medicine competition. The deadline for submissions is August 15, A Resident/Fellow Member and Medical Student breakfast will be held on Saturday morning. Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: Apply updated knowledge to manage hypertension and sepsis. Become familiar with use of bedside ultrasound to diagnose and treat common conditions encountered by the internist. Increase confidence in recognizing common red eye conditions. Review updated guidelines for prescribing opioids. Who should attend? The American College of Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 10.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
