In partnership with the National Employment Law Project (NELP) I am working with Deborah Berkowitz to produce a series of short reports on my dissertation s research findings, which will be publicized and distributed to worker centers and policy makers. The goal of these publications will be to generate more widespread awareness of the working conditions at dollar stores, engage in current political and economic debates, and offer a suggested plan of action to protect low-wage service workers and retail employees.
