2 Started in June 2001 with the vision of imparting quality education to the people in and around Koparkhairane. Progressed under the Manager ship of Archbishop HG Geevarghese Mar Coorilos. 2

4 We have 5 strong pillars starting with our wonderful Students and their Parents. The best of Faculty and Infrastructure contribute to the academic and overall development of the students with the consistent support of our Management. We have well equipped labs covering Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computers. Our library has more than 10,000 titles that whet the appetite of our students. The newly constructed auditorium can accommodate an audience of around 350. Elevators are being provided. The school play ground has bred many a sporting talent that has brought the school several laurels in competitive sporting events. The ground is also a platform for encouraging several art and cultural activities. An Alumni Group called Stage Fright was started in 2009 and they conduct annual cultural programs. An intra-school competitions were held by them last year which was a grand success. All these add to the development process of our students beyond academics. 4

5 We have well equipped Science Labs that can accommodate 20 students per batch. The Computer Lab has 52 Personal Computers with a 100% Power Back-Up and networked locally. A distillation unit has been installed in the Chemistry lab. 5

6 In the year 2013 we bagged AIR 5. In the year 2015 school soared high in the ICSE results with the national topper (AIR I) Tezan Sahu, AIR 6 Himanshu Surgade, AIR 8 Raunaq Jiandani, AIR 9 shared by Roshini Gupta and Tejaswini Jupudi. 7

We currently offer Science and Commerce under ISC and plan to introduce Humanities this year. Aided by the 5 pillars of strength, we look forward to being the Best ISC School in India.

The journey is long but our paths are well paved. Any Student who has Passed ICSE or the X Standard Equivalent from any Recognised Board Ratified by the Council are eligible to get admission to ISC.

We follow the common core curriculum as proposed by COBSE for all subjects so that the students are able to perform comfortably at the competitive exams MH-CET, the IIT JEE Main / Final examinations. 13

10 We strongly believe in the all-round development of our students well prepared to become the leaders of tomorrow. We are a young nation with 60% of our population less than 35 years of age and 50% of the population less than 25 years. The children of today are at the throes of exciting advancements in technology and economy. Their dreams and aspirations are high and we believe in shaping their vision with the appropriate support and inputs. The Robotic Club encourages young talents to learn robotic sciences, hone their skills and display their talent in interschool competitions. The Electronic Club offers a platform for talents interested in the field of electronics. A Leadership Club is on the anvil which would enable the ISC students to identify and tap the talents in younger classes and groom them in areas of identified interests. 14

The choice of subjects are split into Mandatory, Effective Combination 1 and Effective Combination 2. Science and Commerce stream students have to choose the Mandatory Subjects viz.

English and SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Works). Effective Combination 1 is for Commerce students with an option between Maths and Business Studies. Effective Combination 2 is for Science students. Apart from Physics and Chemistry, the students have to choose any two amongst Maths / Biology / Computer Science. Effective Combination 3 is for Humanities students. Apart from Psychology, Sociology and Political Science, the students have to choose any one from Economics / Biology. 15

A measure of its recognition internationally is manifested thru the direct admissions offered to ISC students in reputed Universities abroad like National University of Singapore where an ISC score of 95% + is sufficient for admission. No need to make the student run thru additional tests. We also provide additional inputs for those students who are interested in appearing for SAT. ISC students are also exempt internationally from TOEFL at select Universities abroad as our standards are compatible with the best globally. As part of preparing our students for the best of colleges and Universities, we also facilitate the all round development of our students way beyond just academics. 17

For Class VI upwards we follow the curriculum for the ICSE and ISC Examinations as laid by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. 21
