3 School Readiness Program for Class Ist School readiness programme has been basically designed to prepare the child for school, to help him / her develop a feeling of affinity, of comfort, so that once he starts coming to school he should not think that school is being forced upon him. In fa ct, his school should be his second home. It should be a place where he loves to come and where he enjoys every moment. Children of class 1 (entry level) are therefore prepared mentally and physically for the school through play way method. VMC Meeting Every Quarter Vidyalaya Management Committee meeting was held in Vidyalaya and this meeting was attended by all the members which includes Chairman,Nominee Chairman, Parent Member, Local Educationalists, Principal of Vidyalaya,Senior Teacher etc and various issues were discussed regarding the smooth functioning of the Vidyalaya. Annual Day Celebration Annual Day of the Vidyalaya was celebrated on 12 th May 2015 in Thimaya Hall Baramulla. The Chief Guest of the function was Brig. B.R Mutatkar Dy. G.O.C 19 Inf Div Baramulla and Chairman of the Vidyalaya.In the Annual function various number of programmes were done by students like Saraswati Vandana, Welcome Song, Cultural programs like Gidda, Rouf and at last prizes were distr ibuted to students.
4 Scout & Guide Day Celebration The Scout and Guide day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya on 05 th June 2015 in the premises of Vidyalaya and tribute were given to Mr. Lord Beden Powell (Founder of Scout & Guide) and students of Scout and Guide participated in various activities like group Song, Drawing Competition(Save Earth) and prizes were distributed amount participants. International Yoga Day The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 st June 2015 at sharp 07:30 AM in Vidyalaya. All the students, Teahing and Non Teaching Staff participated in Yoga Day. Mr. Parvesh Kumar TGT P&HE of the Vidyalaya trains all the participants how to do va rious exercises of yoga.the Chairman VMC, CO Signal and all other Army officers also participants in it. Pahalgam Mountaineering A Group of 14 students (Boys & Girls) including two escorts of the Vidyalaya have been sent for Mountaineering camp in Pahalgam. During their stay they performed very well and learn lot of tracking techniques and much more related to the camp. Mock Drill on Fire & Safety A mock drill on fire and safety was conducted in the premises of the Vidyalaya and teach the students how to use Fire Extinguisher during fire.
5 Mini sports Day Mini sports day was celebrated in the School and students of all the four houses were participated in various games like Kho Kho, Volley Ball, Batminton etc and at last prizes were distributed amoung winners. Celebration of Independence Day On 15 th August 2015 the Independence Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya and Flag Hosting was done by the Principal of Vidyalaya Mr. Krishan Singh Chauhan. After Flag Hosting various programs was done like speech on Independence day, Patriotic Song, Group D ance and sweets were distributed among students. Celebration of Sadhbhawana Diwas
