5 Preliminary Keystone and PSSA Summary Results qdistrict performance saw significant improvement in all Keystone exams (Algebra I, Biology, Literature) qhigh School Algebra I saw the biggest percentage increase from 2015 to 2016 (20% increase) qcedarbrook saw increases for ALL STUDENTS, 7 TH GRADERS, and 8 TH GRADERS in ALGEBRA 1 KEYSTONES qoverall 4 th grade PSSA scores decreased in Literature, Math and Science qoverall 8 th grade PSSA scores decreased in 2016 in all three exams (English, Math and Science) qsignificant gaps continue to exist between African American, White, Asian, Hispanic, Historically Underperforming, and IEP students Historically Underperforming Students defined as a non-duplicated count of students with disabilities, economically disadvantaged students, and English Language Learners enrolled for a full academic year taking the PSSA.
