19 Assessment: Mother Tongue Term 1 (0%) Term 2 (20%) Term 3 (30%) Term 4 (50%) No weighted assessments for Term 1 Daily Conversation 10% Pupils will be assessed on their ability to engage in a short conversation. Mini Test 1 10% Comprises of Phonetics Identification, Word/ Vocabulary Recognition and Comprehension. Listening 10% Comprehension Pupils will be assessed on their ability to understand a sentence by choosing the correct picture, and to understand a passage by choosing the correct answer. Reading Aloud 10% Pupils will be required to read a short passage, poem, etc. aloud. SA2 50% Oral Comprises of Reading, Picture Description and Conversation. Listening Comprehension Pupils will be assessed on their ability to understand a sentence by choosing the correct picture, and to understand a passage by choosing the correct answer.
