Event Producers MyBlackFamilyReunion.org The 2016 Scheduled Lineup for the 28th Annual Midwest Black Family Reunion Cincinnati The Annual Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion Celebration will be held August 19 21, 2016, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Locations include Sawyer Point on Cincinnati s Riverfront, Sharonville Convention Center and other sites in Cincinnati; admission is free. The fun-filled celebration is one of Cincinnati's largest family-focused events, drawing up to 20,000 visitors each year from across the country. The event honors historic strengths and values of the Black Family, and is the only sanctioned Black Family Reunion remaining in the nation.
2 The Midwest Black Family Reunion provides a safe, positive environment, emotionally and physically, explains Tracey Artis, event producer. Besides the annual parade and live music draw, many people don t realize we host a Job Fair and Health, Interactive Arts and Spirituality Pavilions. We ll even have a mammography van onsite Saturday. The 2016 event national headliners are Cameo and Pastor Donnie McClurkin. Cameo widely known for their smash hit, Word Up! was formed in Their soul-influenced funk group was a huge hit in the 70s and 80s as their R&B and hip-hop often topped the charts. Cameo Donnie McClurkin one of the highest-selling Gospel music artists has sold over ten million albums worldwide. His list of accomplishments include three Grammy Awards, ten Stellar Awards, two Soul Train Awards, and more. His Donnie McClurkin (radio) Show is syndicated and reaches millions throughout the world.
