The SARC contains information about the condition and performance of each California public school. Under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) all local educational agencies (LEAs) are required to prepare a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), which describes how they intend to meet annual school-specific goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities. Opportunities for Parental Involvement (Most Recent Year) Parental involvement is integral to the success of Mosaica Online Academy of Southern California. Our continuous improvement initiatives are driven by parent feedback. Parent feedback is solicited through surveys and focus groups that are designed to help us identify areas of satisfaction and dissatisfaction. When areas of dissatisfaction are identified parental input is essential to our improvement planning. Some parents are even asked to provide print or video testimonials. Mosaica Online parents serve in the role of learning coach for their students. This is a pivotal role not only to the success of their students but also to the success of the school as a whole. When parents are engaged in the learning process and they provide support and accountability at home their student is much more likely achieve. Parents are asked to communicate with their student's teachers and advisers frequently and are encouraged to attend parent teacher conferences and monthly Parent Education Series meetings.
