1 DEER PARK HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS CHEER MINI CLINIC Come join us and learn sideline chants and dances, work on jumps, motions, etc. Ages: Kindergarten to 5 th grade When: Friday, October 6, 2017 Time: Where: 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. (Parents may return around 7:50 so your child can showcase their new skills) Deer Park High School South Campus (Enter glass doors by tennis courts) Cost of Camp: $40 pre-registered by 9/29 $45 9/30 or at door $10 for additional t-shirts Contact Info: cmcglynn@dpisd.org or ldavidson@dpisd.org Each child that registers will receive a t-shirt. We are inviting the participants to take part in the Homecoming Community Pep Rally (more details to follow). Additionally, we would like the participants to perform the school song and school cheer with the Varsity Cheerleaders at the beginning of the DPHS Varsity Homecoming Football game at Abshier Stadium on Friday, 10/13. You will receive more information about these events when you pick up your child. Shorts and bows will be sold on the day of the clinic if you would like to purchase them for your child to wear with the clinic shirt for the football performance. Items can be purchased by the set for a discounted price or items can be bought individually. Please cut here and return the completed bottom portion with your payment. No doubling of major grades. Minor Grades 40% At least 40% of the nine weeks average. Includes homework (20% maximum), daily work, quizzes, etc. PAP/AP 70% No more than 70% of the nine weeks average. Includes tests, projects, research, etc. Minimum of 3 major grades. No doubling of major grades. 30% At least 30% of the nine weeks average. Includes homework (20% maximum), daily work, quizzes, etc. A progress report will be issued every three weeks. A teacher will record at least five grades per three weeks, with a minimum total of fifteen grades per nine weeks.
